April is National Card and Letter Writing Month!

Did you know that April is National Card and Letter Writing month? I have always LOVED writing and receiving letters. Not just during summer camp, holidays or Birthdays - but all the time. Recently, I've noticed that letter writing has really taken the back seat. Mailboxes are rarely filled with special handwritten letters and more items that end up in the recycle bin. Don't you just love receiving a hand written note on a gorgeous piece of paper and even an extra special card? One of my favorite things to do is browse paper stores for the best cards. I have always taken pride in finding the perfect birthday card or extra special personalized stationary.

We've recently been watching a lot of my favorite childhood movies with our kids. This letter, "Dear Darla" always makes me laugh. Letter writing goes way back in time and truthfully is one of those special timeless exchanged between family and friends. Texts, emails and phone calls have taken over. But, how special is it to receive a hand written note? It's like getting a big hug in the mail, am I right? My grandmother, who has the most beautiful handwriting I have ever seen, recently wrote a forever letter to my daughter. It was so special to share her amazing penmanship with my daughter as she begins to learn cursive.

And, I don't know about you guys, but using the perfect pen aids in the letter writing process. I love using the perfect pen. Lately the Erin Condren fine tip markers are what I find myself reaching for.

Erin Condren has the perfect new personalized stationary that I have been loving. The metallic envelopes are so cute with it! Look at how adorable these are!

Place your order and receive $10 off your first purchase of $40 or more.

My challenge for you guys is to write a few handwritten notes to your friends and family and send them snail mail. I guarantee you will make someone on the receiving end very very happy. Don't forget to post on instagram and tag #ECWriteALetter and me @thelovejules.

XOXO,

Jules
